The working environment of LED outdoor lights is more complicated. It is affected by natural conditions such as temperature, ultraviolet light, humidity, rain, rain, sand, chemical gas, etc. Over time, it will lead to serious light failure of LED outdoor lights. Therefore, excellent heat dissipation design is the key point that must be considered.
(1) The design of the lampshade is selected. Currently used are transparent glass, plexiglass, PC materials, and the like. In general, the lampshade of a led outdoor light is preferably a conventional glass product. The
(2) Packaging technology for outdoor LED chips. At present, domestically produced LED outdoor lamps (mainly street lamps) are mostly assembled by using 1W LEDs in multiple strings and in parallel. This method has high "thermal resistance" and low grade of lamps. Module assembly: assembled with 30W, 50W or even larger modules to achieve the required power. These LEDs are encapsulated in epoxy and are available in silicone packages. The epoxy resin package has poor temperature resistance, and it is easy to age after a long time; the silicone package has better temperature resistance. The module substrate is typically a copper substrate for coupling to an external heat sink. The flatness of the two planes is relatively high, and the use of good thermal grease ensures that the heat on the copper substrate can be transferred to the external heat sink in time. Multi-chip package: The overall package effect of multi-chip and heat sink is better, or the multi-chip package of aluminum substrate is used to connect with the heat sink. This package has the lowest thermal resistance and is more conducive to heat dissipation.
